Infrastructure Malta has completed over half of construction work on the new breakwater and the new passenger facilities for ferry services in Bugibba.

The new 180-meter breakwater is set to further diminish wave activity in the bay, thus providing additional protection for fishing boats in this area.

Moreover, it will feature facilities for the embarkation and disembarkation of ferry passengers, as well as safer platforms for boarding other passenger boats,” said Infrastructure Malta.

This very important project is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund.
