Two naval boats belonging to the General Directorate of Coastal Security and their operating crew arrived in Malta, to participate in the joint naval exercises “Dolphin 1”, the Ministry of Interior of the Government of National Unity announced on Tuesday.

The exercise comes after a training course launched last May in the Maltese capital, Valletta, aimed to raise and develop the capabilities of naval boat crews.

Hakomitna platform said that the training included ten crews from the Coast Security Department, with the participation of two naval boats, indicating that it included instructions on rescue and search by helicopter, storming ships and combating organized crime.
