Events and media company SBC is expanding its presence in Malta by opening an office on the island. This move underlines the company’s commitment to strengthening its presence in the iGaming hub, which for the past six years has hosted one of its events, the Casino Beats Summit.
While the CasinoBeats Summit debuted in London in 2018 and held its second edition in the British capital the following year, 2019 marked a significant change with the Summit’s expansion with a version in Malta. Furthermore, 2019 also saw the start of the first “Malta Baby” party, highlighting the company’s growing commitment to the Malta-based iGaming community.
Since the inception of the CasinoBeats Summit, the event’s growth trajectory has been remarkable, as evidenced by the increase in the number of delegates, with an expected 4.500 attendees at this year’s event, scheduled to take place at the InterContinental Hotel from 21 to May 23rd.

Currently employing 130 people and expanding globally, the new Malta office will operate alongside SBC’s established offices in London and Manchester. As of May 2, the office began its activities, three weeks before the 2024 edition of the CasinoBeats Summit. SBC invites companies already part of the SOHO community to visit and say hello to the Malta team at Office 19, located on Level 3 of the Strand.
SBC will celebrate the office opening during the Official Networking Party at Infinity by Hugo’s on Wednesday, May 22.
